Driver Killed In Belgrade Accident Submitted: 12/24/2009
Belgrade - One driver was killed and another hurt in a collision Wednesday night in Belgrade. The crash was on Route 27 near Christy's Country Market. Kennebec County Sheriff's deputies say the person killed was 30-year-old Jeremiah Baker of Rome. The name of the other driver, a woman, has not been released. Deputies say she was taken to MaineGeneral Hospital in Augusta with a leg injury. The accident is still under investigation, but authorities say they believe Baker lost control of his car.
