Two More Deaths Blamed on Swine Flu Submitted: 11/24/2009
The H1N1 virus is being blamed for two more deaths in Maine.

That brings the total of swine flu deaths in the state up to five since August. Four have been in the past two weeks, with the average among those who died at age 47. The Maine Center for Disease Control also says there were 50 hospitalizations this week blamed on the H1N1 virus, while 143 schools reported high absenteeism due to the illness.
