Investigation Continues into Hell's Angels Shooting Submitted: 10/13/2009
CANAAN - A 63-year-old man shot in the chest outside of a Hell's Angels motorcycle club late last week is expected to recover.

Gary Watson of Canaan is recovering in Eastern Maine Medical Center. A neighbor says she heard several gunshots and saw bullet holes in the rear window and driver's side mirror of Watson's truck. When she went over, she says she found Watson in the driver's seat of his truck, shot in the neck. State police say the investigation into his shooting is continuing, as they are working to establish a motive for the crime, including the possibility a rival gang was involved. A spokesman with the Department of Public Safety confirmed Monday Watson is a member of Hell's Angels.
