BANGOR - The Bangor man who pleaded guilty to robbing two convenience stores this spring will spend the next six years in jail.

Travis Gustin, 29, was sentenced this morning in Penobscot Superior Court to ten years in prison with all but six years suspended, followed by three years of probation for two counts of robbery. The judge also sentenced Gustin to serve 3 years concurrently for the other 16 felony charges. Earlier this month, Gustin admitted to robbing an Irving in Bangor on March 28th and Sam’s Quik Stop in Kenduskeag on March 29th. He also pleaded guilty to eight counts of burglary, seven counts of theft and a charge of aggravated forgery. He has been in custody since his arrest.
