1136th to be Deployed in 2010 Submitted: 06/08/2009
While they figured this was coming, members of a Maine National Guard unit received definite word they'll be going to Afghanistan next year.

Major General John Libby announced Saturday about 177 soldiers in the 1136th Transportation Company will be deployed in early 2010. The unit is stationed in Bangor, Calais and Sanford, and will be assigned to provide security at military basis.
