Jury Selected for Waterman Murder Trial Submitted: 06/02/2009
OXFORD COUNTY - The jury has been selected for the double murder trial of a Sumner man scheduled to start next week.

Duane Waterman, 33, will stand trial in Oxford County for the shooting deaths of Timothy Mayberry and Todd Smith in West Paris last July. Court documents indicate drugs and unpaid debts may have played a role in the shootings. Waterman has been held without bail since his arrest in August and pleaded not guilty to both killings in September. His trial is scheduled to begin next Monday.
