HOLDEN - A section of Levenseller Road in Holden from Rooks to Nolan Roads was closed for a few hours yesterday while crews battled a structure fire.
Just before noon, neighbors driving by 485 Levenseller Road noticed flames and thick black smoke coming from the house. Crews from Holden, Brewer, Eddington, and Dedham responded to the fully engulfed blaze. Firefighters say the wood framed home will most likely be considered a total loss. No one was home at the time of the fire and crews are still investigating the cause. Neighbors helped control the flames until crews got to the scene.
