BANGOR - Two people were indicted on murder charges by the Penobscot County Grand Jury.

Perley Goodrich, Jr., 45, was re-indicted for killing his 76-year-old father, Perley Goodrich, Sr. in Newport back in October. Along with officially being charged with Intentional or Knowing Murder/Depraved Indifference Murder. Goodrich has also been charged with Aggravated Assault for attacking his mother.
Also indicted Monday was 31-year-old Nathaneal Nightingale of Burlington for the murders of Michael and Valerie Miller last month. The husband and wife victims were found shot to death in their home and investigators say it initially appeared that the shootings happened during a burglary. Nightingale later admitted to police that he shot the couple and stole from them.
