2008 POP THE QUESTION CONTEST RULES
No purchase necessary. Must be 21 or older to enter, Must be a legal resident of the United States. Contest is open to all residents in the Bangor, Maine Television DMA as defined in Nielsen Media Research. From 4/12/2008 to 12 noon, 5/9/2008 you can enter on-line for the Pop The Question contest at foxbangor.com and tell us why you should be chosen to make a marriage proposal on WFVX FOX BANGOR during the American Idol Finale Show on Wednesday 5/21/08. All entries may be required to provide current photo of couple, references, and authorize background checks. Winner must be able to tape proposal between 5/12/08 and 5/19/08. And couple must be available for dinner on 5/21/08 during broadcast of American Idol Finale (7pm-10pm). Grand Prize winner will receive the following prize package: 1- .65ctw Diamond Engagement Ring (arv $1500) from Quality Jewelers. 1-$350 Gift Certificate for Banquet Room from The Lucerne Inn. 1-$350 Gift Certificate for Reception Food from The Lucerne Inn. 1-$350 Gift Certificate from The Henry's Bridal Boutique & Formal Wear. 1-$350 Gift Certificate for Floral Arrangements from Bangor Floral. 1-$350 Gift Certificate for DJ services from Music Central DJ Services. 1-$350 Gift Certificate for Day Spa services from Apollo & Aphrodites. To enter you also can mail a letter containing 250 to 500 words why you should be chosen. Or log on to foxbangor.com. The contest will begin on April 12, 2008 and will continue through 12 noon May 9, 2008. The Estimated retail value of the prize is $ 3600. Winner is responsible for all local, county, state and federal taxes on prizes based on the estimated retail value of the prizes as set forth in these rules. Winner must provide social security number in advance of receiving grand prize. And will receive an IRS 1099 form. Winner agrees that Rockfleet Broadcasting III LLC, Bangor Communications, Inc., , their parent, subsidiary, affiliated and related entities, and the officers, directors, employees, licensees and assignees of each. and all contest sponsors, their partners, agents, officers, employees and affiliates, and their respective advertising, promotion agencies, shall have no liability in connection with or as a result of acceptance or use of the prizes awarded herein. This prize may not be exchanged for cash and may not be transferred. There is no substitution of any prizes available. Employees of ABC 7/WVII and FOX 22/WFVX, all other Maine media outlets and all participating contest sponsors, their advertising agencies, affiliates, representatives, immediate families or households and employees are ineligible to enter/win. Void where prohibited or restricted by law. By participating in this contest the winner a) permits ABC 7/WVII and FOX 22/WFVX, to make reasonable use in all media, without reimbursement, of the winner's name, likeness, biographical information, and b) releases ABC 7/WVII and FOX 22/WFVX, their partners and affiliates, related companies, successors, assigns, officers, directors, stockholders, and employees, and participating sponsors, and their agencies and suppliers, from any and all claims, liabilities, and damages arising directly or indirectly out of the award or use of the prize. All taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. All decisions of WFVX are final. |
