Bangor - A Gorham man was sentenced in U.S. District Court in Bangor Wednesday for trafficking marijuana.
John Pascucci, 51, will serve 43 months in prison, followed by 6-years supervised release and a forfeiture of $25,000.
Pascucci, also known as Scoochy, pleaded guilty in January to Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Distribute Marijuana.
Pascucci conspired with Michael Pelletier by using individuals whom worked for Pelletier, to smuggle marijuana across the Saint John River into the U.S. from Canada.
Pelletier was previously sentenced to life in prison on charges including drug distribution, drug smuggling, and money laundering.
